alright, im a huge fan of both duke and the bulls, but c'mon- Battier vs Brand-domination by brand on offense, just like loren woods did in the post only times 50, but brand would have a little trouble on the perimeter-brand by a mile here-Brand was national player of the year as a sophomore Dunleavy vs Artest-gimme a break, artest is best one on one defender in nba, dunleavy wouldnt score a point, and depending on his shooting artest would score between 5 and 30 Boozer vs Miller-Miller was real good in college and put up better numbers than boozer does on a solid purdue team-he also has a huge size adavantage Williams vs Crawford-OK williams is a pimp and would kick crawfords butt-advantage williams Duhon vs Mercer-merc went to 2 national championship games in 2 seasons-was also number 1 national recruit in 1995-easy win for artest Then look at rest of bulls-Fizer was an all-american who avg 22 pts per game at iowa state and was 2nd in national player of the year voting, Guyton was an all-american, hoiberg avg more than 20 ppg in a couple seasons at iowa state, Corey Benjamin put up 20 a game at oregon state, Michael Ruffin averaged a double double in college, Jake Voskuhl has a national championship ring as well, pretty much enough said, the bulls would dominate them with either rules-i dont even know why this comes up-because it wouldnt even be a game-id say bulls in a blowout by 30 or 40 with elton and mercer sitting the final 3 quarters [This message has been edited by EB42 (edited April 15, 2001).]
Remember that a group of college guys beat the original Dream Team before. And that was the Dream Team with Jordan, Magic, etc. Anything is possible. ------------------
Yes, but the original Dream Team didn't take the game seriously. If you put a game between the Bulls and the Blue Devils, let both of those teams take the game seriously and play their best. Duke gets blown completely off the floor. ------------------ See the three, be the three.
