Let's see what we have and what we need.

    GUARDS:
    10 Mike Bibby G 6-1
    13 Doug Christie G-F 6-6
    8 Mateen Cleaves G 6-2 205
    24 Bobby Jackson G 6-1 185
    25 Brent Price G 6-1 165
    Vs
    3 Goran Dragic G 6-3
    5 Courtney Lee G 6-5
    7 Kyle Lowry G 6-0
    12 Kevin Martin G 6-7
    1 Terrence Williams G-F

QUESTION: Lowry is not Bibby - Bibby use to not be able to shoot either.
Bibby got better. . . Lowry will as well.
Christie was a defensive and 3 pt specialist. Not much else.
Bobby Jackson was the ultimate super sub
The other two are flotsam [Cleaves and Price]

Lowry, Lee, Martin, Williams and Dragic
Is it possible for this group to make the noise of Bibby , Christie, Jackson
I think right not the main thing is DEFENSE
I think offensively that is more than enough firepower

    FORWARDS
    13 Doug Christie G-F 6-6
    5 Hedo Turkoglu F 6-10 220
    3 Gerald Wallace F 6-7 215
    4 Chris Webber F-C 6-9 245
    16 Peja Stojakovic F-G 6-9
    vs
    1 Terrence Williams G-F
    10 Chase Budinger F 6-7
    DeMarre Carroll F 6-8
    44 Chuck Hayes C-F 6-6
    27 Jordan Hill C-F 6-10
    54 Patrick Patterson F
    4 Luis Scola F-C 6-9

TurkeyGlue and Stojakovic were far superior Offensive players than anything we got
HOWEVER our group maybe working hard to be. . but still they are better defensively.
Wallace and Webber - This maybe our biggest point of weakness is the Forwards
Scola can score but one legged webber was a better defender and passer.
This maybe the bunch we need to see the most improvement in.

    CENTERS:
    4 Chris Webber F-C 6-9 245
    52 Jabari Smith C 6-11 250
    31 Scot Pollard C 6-11 265
    21 Vlade Divac C 7-1 243
    vs
    52 Brad Miller C 7-0
    32 Hasheem Thabeet C
    11 Yao Ming C 7-6
    44 Chuck Hayes C-F 6-6
    27 Jordan Hill C-F 6-10
    4 Luis Scola F-C 6-9

This is where YAO is missed.
Divac was a heck of a passer and none of our other guys make me think they are even close
Fortunately the Center position is weaker now than then
    but still

Bibby had actually become a good shooter before he entered the league. That was the thing he worked on after his freshman year at Arizona. He's given a lot of credit to Josh Pastner in improving his shot.

We need a foward who is 6'11, can score and play defesene. Oh, and tyson chandler at center.
    I don't understand Luifa.
On the offensive side, scola plays well with contact, he dishes out some with his back to the basket. He also has the best footwork I've seen since dream retired. Why can't he use those skills on the defensive side?

I feel like if Adelman stays and continues with his system then they are going to pick up Montejunas or Vescey and try and turn them into Webber.

The Kings were always the West Coast team that I followed on League Pass, and in addition to having superior talent, I feel like those guys had a much better grasp of player/ball movement and spacing than any of our players currently do. For me, that's what's most frustrating about watching the young guys, for long stretches of time the execution just never seems as crisp as it should be.

Completely agree. That Sac team has intelligent veterans who made crisp passes and always knew what they were about to run. Often times our players appear to "wing it". Lowry in particular often picks up the ball before he decides what to do with it, and please stop pump faking/hesitating Lowry. Shoot the ball when you're open.

Not a fan of Montiejunas. Guy can be lazy at times and is not an NBA center. Vesely is more of a Rockets' type player, all out hustle all the time, loves to run and doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. He is also athletic and versatile enough to play (and more importantly, defend) several positions.

Vesely talks a lot, but doesn't give off the same entitlement vibe that Montiejunas gives off. If Irving is not there when the Rockets pick (very unlikely), then Rox need to take Jan Vesely.

Adelman will love Vesely's passing ability and ability to create off the dribble too. Both guys need to get bigger but its hard to teach length (combined with athleticism). Vesely may also be thinner, but IMO he's tougher than Montiejunas.

    They are young yet.
    So they need to learn.
    I think they are learning.
