blah, my job doesn't allow us to go MySpace either, but other DEPARTMENTS within the same company can. Literally, just our department can't go but whatever, I just check when I get home. As for this dumb suspension, its dumb. That site has just exploded ever since I signed up for it 2 years ago, its 5x the amount of members on there now and I can't go one week without somebody mentioning the site and a crime thats gone down.
It's good to be the boss . Employees - you will w**** me ! I need 2,754 new friends at 4:40! Get on it! note to self - do not give myspace page to bankers.
myspace almost got a coworker of mine fired... he was posting about his drug use and his bipolar condition, then he kept dropping our companies name in the blog, and our supervisors had someone trolling myspace and found out about it... they called me in to talk about it, but I brought it up to them as if I was concerned for him... they let him off the hook and he has cleaned up his act since... for those who trash myspace, I'm a man in my late twenties who lives far away from his hometown. its great for keeping tabs on my old friends, and the music part of the site is great for musicians and bands looking for gigs or fellow players, or for just getting their music out there...
Hey, I go to Baylor. That sucks to hear, man, but yea, what can you expect from BU? I hope being moderate doesn't get me in trouble!
I often really wonder what the hell people are thinking when they do stuff like this. Sites like MySpace or even Clutchfans aren't private and given how fast info moves around the Internet anything you say or post on the Internet can be found by practically anyone else. I follow the rule to not say or post anything online, anywhere, that I wouldn't say or show publicly.
