One last thing: I don't think T-Mac deserves a lot of criticism for tonight's game.

But this garbage about what a great job he did and how everyone else on the team let him down is total BS. He went 7 of 21 for tonight's game. From my viewpoint he played as well as pretty much every else on the team with the exception of Battier and Scola.

seriosly, seem to, how do you know he doesn't care. he was emotional, and passionate tonight, the things we complained in teh past, and to night he showed that fire. But for u to say that he quit and doesnt care is wrong. seriously think about it, do you really think that a guy who's been criticized all his career for not getting out the 1st round, doesn't care about this playoff, that's just idiotic.

We shall revisit this thread when TMAC leads this team past the Jazz.

If he didn't care, he wouldn't be playing period. He has plenty of money for he and his family to be financially independent for generations without worrying about jackasses like you telling us how he feels about the game of basketball.

If it weren't for McGrady, we wouldn't even be having this conversation because we wouldn't be in the playoffs. If he had sidelined himself because of the shoulder because "he doesn't care" as you put it, you'd be blaming him for our losses anyway so just stop already.

I forgot Boozer and Okur were the greatest players ever. I dont know how they had such a bad road record with those titans in the lane. I bet they win the championship because of that stellar defense.

if we dont get it done next year, TMAC will goto a team he has chances of winning with , the Magic, the Raptors and the Rox aren't exactly C-SHIP caliber teams. The 20 mil a yr thing is Bullshi7...he had 80 mil ( around) for his shoe deal and alot more from other endorsements..the money thing is a useless arguement

Well, they rolled over our All Star center like he was Mugsy fkn Bogues last year so they're obviously doing something right.

BECAUSE HE'S ****ING TMAC ACCEPT IT

I don't understand people who make a big deal of this, or people who try and defend it. We've been seeing this play out for YEARS. It is what it is. So next time he goes off for 40 in the 2nd half (rare if ever) make a big deal about it, because what he pulled in the 2nd half is just what I expected.

There was a reason that the Rockets signed Yao for the Max contract. Yao should have been off load some defense pressure off Tmac.

Now Tmac faced more defense pressure and had a broken shoulder while Yao was sitting on the bench. Scola need to play like a superstar to offset the team loss on Yao.

This is not a blame on Yao. It just shows the impact of Yao would have had...

You can't compare Lebron to TMAC. Lebron is a feak. No one denies that. Also Lebron is playing the Wizards. The Jazz would smoke the Cavs.

I agree I don't think he did a great job tonight, but he didn't play badly. I think it's not so much his teammates let him down (I'll agree T-Mac didn't play up to par), but his teammates are just not going to be enough.

    Aaron Brooks? 1/7
    Bobby Jackson? 3/15
    Luis Scola? 6/15
    Even Carl Landry was 1/4.
I know T-Mac didn't shoot better than most of them but he was the focus of the defense for the most part, and these guys just couldn't put it together as a team, even in the shadow of T-Mac.

    Deron Williams? 7/12
    Carlos Boozer? 10/20
    AK47? 8/12
    etc. etc. etc.

I'm going to say it, it will take a miracle to win this series, because we really don't have the talent right now.

There were several occasions in the 2nd half where he was trying to get Bobby to pass him the ball but he wouldn't. One time his defender was sagging, and if Jax throws him the ball T-Mac fakes the J and drives for the dunk. He was trying to get Aaron to throw him the ball but he threw it away. The only thing you can criticize on him was going to Scola too much on his drives. Maybe he thought Scola had a better angle. It would have been a good play in the first, but after Scola had been struggling, I would think a 9 foot runner for T-Mac would be a better shot.

I saw the 4th quarter burnout coming. He played like a man possessed for too long in the game. I credit him for the aggressiveness earlier in the game but with his health issues and him having a history of getting tired in the 4th quarter of games you could just tell he was going to fall off at the end. Credit Utah as well with some insane defense on him that forced the team to beat them instead of Tmac. His team mates other than Shane and Scola failed him.
