The average annual bonus for the CEO of the UPRR is $11.5 million dollars with the top 10 VP`s making between $2 and 9 million each. Not bad for a company that just had another record year of profits and an additional 750 who were laid off this quarter {myself included effective Dec 31st}. But, I`m not bitter because I got a $25.00 gift certificate to kroger`s............oh, OK I`m a little bitter
wow! what are people thinking? why would anyone need that much money? i mean, if other people were being rewarded and you still made that much, then great...but when you're giving away $20 gift cards and taking home over $10 million in your own bonus, something's wrong.
I don't know what's funnier, the fact that there's something called the United Pet Pig Registry, or that drapg doesn't know the difference between a "P" and an "R".
Don't worry about it, drapg. If you ever get a pet pig, now you have all the information you need on registering it...
During the leaner years at Apple, they stopped giving out bonuses and cut profit sharing, even if we happened to make a profit. Morale started to get low around the close of quarters, so management decided to give out free ice cream treats on that day. Funny part was people used to go stand in line for it and say "let's go get our profit sharing" and "mmm profits" as they ate them. Kinda backfired on them. That's why I love Apple; innovation + sarcasm= my kind of people.
Ok, I really need to go work at a law firm again. Hey Max, you guys looking to hire anyone new into the IT department?
