[/B][/QUOTE] Like I've been saying all along, that Phoenix game I believe is going to end up hurting the Rockets in the end. ------------------
I'm confused, we are one game back from 8 seed. If we beat the suns, we'd still be a half game back (duhh). Do you know what you're talking about, or is it I that does not grasp something. I mean even if we won two more games (unless against the tpups) we would still be seed 9 since they own the series 2-1 if I'm not mistaken. Hmmmmm Rocks ------------------
Oh, you caught yourself, I see Achebe. Didnt mean to sound condescending or nothing. Any way, "what ifs" always suck cuz they are impossible to prove. ROcks ------------------
I don't see the Rockets making the playoffs unless we beat either the Kings or Jazz in the upcoming games. SA is riding a 8 win streak, and it'll probably be 9 after the game with us. Unless some miracle occurs, especially as we wait for word on Stevie. Maybe Mo and Cat will go bombastic and have 30 pt games, likewise for Shan when we play Utah, he goes for 20+ pts. I also see us dropping the Seattle game. ------------------ Do not harm little children!
Wow. This win over SA definitely makes up for the Phoenix loss. If Minnesota were to lose at home to Cleveland tomorrow, WE WOULD BE TIED FOR THE 8TH SPOT!!!!!!! Well, my criteria for beating SA(TD having less than 20 points) did not hold true, but the Rockets still found a way to win. If this ends up being the 1st round matchup, I don't think we can count on 10 3's in each game. We will have to find some way of slowing Duncan down, as well as keeping D. Anderson in check like we did tonight. Boys, I think we can officially say that the Houston Rockets have returned to CLUTCH City. **If we end up beating Sac or Utah, I will add in Portland to the watch-list. ------------------ "You couldn't have stuck a pin up his @#! with a jackhammer. Yeah, I'd say he was pretty tight." -- Barkley on Minnesota's Chris Carr(thx RocksMillenium)after he missed a game winning free-throw. [This message has been edited by today (edited March 17, 2001).]
