I hate to break it to ya, but we're a worse team than that one.

Is that your answer to 'we shouldn't be content with Adelman'? Van Gundy sucks?

Ya we lost by a few points in a first round game 7 with probably one of the worst benches in the history of the NBA playoffs...why should that divert our attention from this bad excuse for a team we have now? We aren't even going to make the playoffs at this rate. But, but Gundy still sucks...

When are JVG haters going to let it go? He's gone and we're a worse team because of it...I hope all of you are happy, you got what you wanted.

Exactly, they had the athletes to run his system. That is not the case here. I dont get why we hired Adelman when his system is not suited to our players. It would be like JVG being hired to coach the Suns. His style would not work with the players they have.

That being said, you either have to change coaches or change personel. I think its much easier to change to a coach like Larry Brown then it would be to trade for a bunch of players that fit Adelman's offense.

I still think it is too early to truly judge Adelman, but also think two years is a bit long cuz it isnt exactly a group of youngsters he is dealing with. My big problem isnt the 13-15 record. Of course I wish it was better, but the problem is every single player seems to have digressed under Adelman other then Wells who was total junk last year. And honestly remembering back on the season, 13-15 is actually a better sounding record then the way they have played.

You enjoy losing every year in the first round. 52 wins regular season success mean nothing if Tracy and Yao still can't get of the first freaking round. If the attitude is satisfied with just winning pipe dream regular season games and losing in the first round then this is waste. Might as well tank and try to get derrick rose.

If that's the case then they are already done. Why is the expectations for them to win a championship now when they can't even get of the first round. This is why magic said you may have to trade one of them and mcgrady being the older more banged up guy would have to go first.

Logically speaking. Suppose we give two years time to AD, and he got his system working within two years. Then we suddenly realize our two lineup key players are too old. And u said it's ok. lets get rid of them. We have a Wonderful Coach. He can do the magic. He could grab two outsiders and do the job instead of T-mac and Yao.

I m not saying we dont give time to AD, but two years, comon, man. There must have been a mistake of calculation.

For me, giving him half of the season will do. No more than that. BTW, I feel the team is working its way out under the circumstance of Healty T-mac and Yao.

As long as Yao and TMac believe in the coach then I am cool with that.

But if Yao and TMac do not like the system he is running, then its just inevitable he will get shipped out.

No, No, No. Give him 10 more game, if he cannot win 5 out of 10, fire him for sure.

It doesn't take an expert to see that -- one or the other is out of sinc 'NOW'
Players or Coach or possibly both. :p
If we have Yao Ming on our team the Coach A method is to turn him into another Vlade Devats. I believe this would be an injustice and the incorrect use of Yao Ming. If he is on the team then we should play the big man game as has been the tradition of the rockets. :p
Morey has illustrated that he is very inexperienced at doing his job! Although we all, including me, thought that at first he was a wizard! :p
Les and Morey need to be given the probervial kick in the butt and set to work on cleaning this mess up at the earliest convenience.starting Dec 26th 2007. Possibly the full effect and need to won't reach their brains till we miss the playoffs. :p
Coach A I liked him for about 2 weeks! Since, I just don't want him anywhere near my[ & Les) Rockets! :p

I am with you on that. It pays to go the lottery year after year, with a good first half regular season. It's a lot more fun to see what you can get out of the lotto.

    DUH!!!!!!!!

the premise is that if one had to choose which team to watch, last year's or this year's, one would obviously choose a team that gets into the playoffs than one that doesn't even make it!!!!

but to talk about your point, you being the "i told you so!" guy, why aren't you working for the rockets??? why didn't you apply for the gm position? it is equal opportunity. to even suggest tanking a season is beyond reason!! there wouldn't be a product, and if you happened to be the GM, noone would come to watch the team that you are building! and to think derrick rose would be your savior!

i'm not sure i am even interested in hearing what you would do with yao AND tmac.

knee jerk reaction, and a whole lot of complaining and moping, what team do you root for?

what does magic do? he is a laker, what does he care about the rockets? what were his trade solutions? if he were the gm, what offers would he get? great solution! trade one of them! i could have come up with that as well.

i can understand this if you are a laker fan, but if you are a rocket fan, you need to grow a pair, and stand up to laker pride, stop letting your laker buddies push you around!

Give Adelman and Morey time to sort out this roster, get Brooks in the starting lineup, and slowly weed out Rafer and other nonshotmakers, and slowly watch this team rise out of the ashes of doom and rise to compete with the Spurs, Mavs, and Suns for West supremacy over the next 5 years.

Couldn't agree with you more denniscd. The 'drive by' fans posting to fire Rick or give him until the All Star break obviously don't know how hard it is to win ONE game in the NBA let alone put together a good start to a season when you have changes galore and THE hardest schedule in THE hardest conference...

Its so frustarting to come see this board change so much in the 1.5 years I have been here. The negativity abounds, and the patience or optimism is sight unseen.

This is still the most talented roster we have had of late
The new coach has proven himself a winner over the last 17 years
We have over half the season left, and it will get easier
Sometimes, a little adversity can be a good thing

Win, lose, or draw I will never stop believing in what this team is capable of
