We increase our odds of being the first 14th ranked team to win the lottery with every year that we finish 14th in the lottery. 3 times at 14th worst record out of 50 years means that IF a 14th team does win the lottery within 50 years, there is a 6% chance it will be us! Well the lottery started in the 80s and the 14th pick has never moved up so we have about 20 or so of those years passed!
