Parenting isn't easy. A split second, a child can get away and bad things can happen. It's a job that requires your full attention, and even then it's still dangerous out there. R.I.P. to the child, and God bless the family dealing with this.

Man that's painful. No child deserves that. Such a tragic for something like this to happened. I bet the parents are in a load of guilt and regrets. Awful accident. Things happens and this is just a tragic accident. I mean no one would expect something like this to happen. I wished a guardian would have watched that little one.

Rest in peace kid. I hope the Lakers offered an helping hand like paying for the funeral cost or donate money to the family. I hope this is a wake up call to everyone across the nation who bring children to a luxury suite and be more cautious.

It doesn't matter where you are and what you're doing. Accidents can happen anywhere and anytime. Always make sure your young ones are safe and secure no matter where they're at. This is just too sad and depressing.

That's how you deal with a kid that runs off every time you turn your head for a split second.

Damn, how could a 5 yr old fall? An adult can fall if leaning too far forward, how could it happen to a 5 yr old?

I don't blame anyone, but a lot of families rent suites to keep their kids away from drunk fans. The glass should have been higher.

This is not the result of bad parenting and stop suggesting that they will sue. That's what you would do.

If nothing like this ever happened everyone would pass the test of faith.

Its hard tell if its bad parenting. If the kid was doing that for a few minutes without them knowing than yes. But they could have taken their eye off for one second and thats it. Kids are a handfull sometimes bad stuff just happens........

There are much worse parents just go to the mall this weekend...and youll see......
