Need this all star crap to end. It's a waste of time, they should let the players rest instead.

The game tomorrow is going to be a bunch of star players playing no defense at all.
2nd half of the season can't start any sooner...

    1. Dunk over Hibbert-->Hibbert is 7'2, very few dudes in the league can pull that one off in a contest.

    2. In the dark dunk, 360 windmill with great vert and power. Very solid.

    3. Tabs the sticker on the backboard, goes under the rim with a 180 windmill. Do you guys know how difficult that one was to execute?

    I guess no...

So ONE post without using explicit language and just asking a question is overreacting and blowing up? Okay...

He had the best dunk. Everything else was forgettable (thank god). Understandable he was able to squeak out 29% of the votes

it took him a million tries. If he had executed it all on 1 try then it would have carried weight.

Plus replays showed him elevating off Hibbert with the left arm.

yea, im kinda getting the impressions that the dunk contest is STAGED. First off, dwight's superman dunk wasn't really a dunk, and they still counted it. Last year blake won it even before it even started, and this year, chase was staged. Starting with kenny asking diddy what his favorite movie was.

@ this year's entire contest. I wouldn't want the whole thing to be scrapped for one bad year though. I thought last season's was really good even though the wrong guy won.

So Bud wins because he made every dunk on 1st or 2nd try? The difficulty dunking over Diddy, doing a classic windmill ans doing a reverse is not really that high when you actually take a look at the dunks the other guys pulled off. I give him props for the blindfolded one, but that's it.

You want me to show you the posts you made in this thread?

Trust me, it's embarrassing. So you probably should just chill out.

so...you didn't see how staged that was...He missed badly on the first try on a regular dunk, and then on the second try, he pulls off a reverse dunk? lmao.

    1) He looked to get a great boost putting his hand on Hibbert's shoulder (though still way more impressive than jumping over Kevin Hart).

    3) If only he could have made the dunk in the first 2 attempts.

Totally agree with Battier. Instead of having players throw a pass to you on dunks, they should have players try to block your dunk. That would make it interesting.

Anybody feel like no one had hops? Everyone seemed like they couldn't get high enough in the air.

Do it and say what's embarassing about them. I really want you to explain it. Say what the logical points were and take a look at the replies, which barely made any sense or were an actual reply that addressed the related problems. When I say "do you guys know hard these dunks were, please watch the replays" or "what's funny about a missed dunk, you wouldn't make it a gif if it was another player"...how is that stupid? These are valid points.
When I replay the degree of difficulty of the dunks he made and question that the majority here has a quy winning that jumped over 5ft somethin Diddy and did a windmill without any props...how am I looking stupid in that case?
I'm really curious about your reply now.

I saw it but I give him props for the bit of creativity. I already stated his overall performance was really bad and he had the least amount of creativity. So that's why I don't get why all the people here have Chase winning that event.
