the thunder/lakers game just made it to 3:59 of the 1st without a stoppage of play. not sure i've ever seen that.
i hope they were thinking like that. they need to have the bully mentality. they didn't last year. they played like they didn't want to mess up. so far this year they seem to be playing with a lot more confidence. last year's team would have let lin get 26 and 9 and dominate the 4th in a knicks win. this year's team took it to him. i didn't see the first half but looking at the stats and how lin played in the second half, he seemed shell-shocked and was hesitant for the first time all season. or maybe the seeming difference is just having haslem and miller and cole and battier instead of bibby, dampier, howard, and eddie house.
Well Miami and Knicks will meet again on Sun, Apr 15 on national TV. Let see if he will be a different player and redeem himself against them. Should be a big game if the Knicks are way deep in the PO positioning.
Becuz since he know he aint gettin another ring this year he only care about winnin da scorin title, no matter how many shots he gotta take. What he like 4 for 13 so far, wats dat, 30% smdh
OKC was a tough matchup for the Lakers two years ago with Jeff Green playing like a bumbling grade-schooler at PF. The torch has obviously passed. Unless OKC is totally out of sync, they would sweep the Lakers in a playoff series. Mitch needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat within 2 weeks. OKC isn't the only team in the West that would handle the Lakers in a series. jopatmc, methinks your notion of the Lakers being improved from last year is nonsense.
Durant is right up there in the MVP race with Lebron. It probably will depend on whoever's team wins more games.
