Man, I wish they would allow me to play defense like Nielsen did against Kobe in the last seconds of that half, even just in pick up ball
WOW the rafs totally missed that intentional fould call. Now I never like to criticize the refs and I'm not complaining this time neither. But sometimes it's just funny how they miss calls.
Blown call at the end of the third quarter. Magic got 2 pts off a Howard alley-oop but Arenas was out of bounds. Lakers also should've been rewarded with 3 FTs at the end of the second quarter. 5 point swing.
in this warriors/thunder game, thanks to 13 more offensive rebounds, 7 fewer turnovers, and 11 fewer free throws, the warriors currently have 49 FGA to the thunder's 24. i can't ever remember seeing a team double another team up this deep into a game. and yet the game is tied. edit: 56 to 27 at the half.
Aldridge drops in 36 on 17 shots. Blazers now have the same number of losses as Denver and Utah, and only one more than NOH.
Derek Fisher. He has the rare distinction of being both the worst offensive player and worst defensive player in the NBA. While it's true he makes less than Walton, the damage he does on the court more than makes up for it. I don't mean that in a good way.
Damn - had to run some errands and missed the the last half of the Lakers game. How in the hell did Bynum only end up with 9 total boards? He had like 6 in the first quarter. How is that possible? Did he get in foul trouble or get hurt? Mind boggling.... ...a few other notes from today's games. It's nice to see Dwight Howard finally get a couple more moves on the low block. This is long overdue for a guy with his obvious athletic gifts. In a few years he isn't going to be able to jump over guys like he has. And how broken is Rondo's shot? It's amazing. You can just tell he has NO confidence in his shot - like he is throwing it up there and he literally has no clue from shot to shot if it feels good or feels off. Is the problem his big hands or does he not practice that enough? For a guy of his prestige, he has a HUGE hole in his game. He's able to hide it playing with Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Big Baby but when those older guys retire, I'm not sure Rondo can be the best player on a team in the same way a DRose or Chris Paul is....
Careful now, many here assumed Howard wasn't going to improve his offense and that he'd already peaked. Don't dare burst the bubble. Who knows, he might even continue getting better? Perish the thought. Indeed Rondo CANNOT be the best player on his team like Rose or CP3. He has to be surrounded by guys that can score. In crunch time, Rondo cannot be counted on to carry his team across the finish line. But in the perfect situation for him like in Boston, he fits the bill very well.
