what a shitshow. So his uncle went to the media before the meeting with the Spurs. Now it looks to me more like a negotiating tactic to force them to pay the supermax I dont thin that Pop will appreciate such bush league behaviour.
Is there anyone living in Houston that can confirm this? Where are the sleuths? Where is Mark Berman when you need him??
No they're not. Ingram is already better than Covington. Ingram is 20. Covington is 27. I like Saric, but Kuzma is a prototypical young wing. Fultz is a ?? It would really swing on Fultz's potential. I still think he has lots of upside, but it's basically taking a complete swing.
Is it thought? I know Lonzo is something of a meme, but he and Kuzma have legit potential to be really good players in this league. Like corner stones. Not to mention if they are willing to trade Ingram instead of one of those two than I really dont see how Philly offers a better package than that.
Depends on your preference! Kuzma or Covington? Ball or Fultz? (not a fan of either) Saric or Ingram? (Probably Ingram) Lakers have the 25th pick, Sixers 10th. http://bkref.com/tiny/SBtPp
I didn’t think it was a critical statement. Lol it’s the truth. Instead of letting the NCAA or a shoe brand make money off his kids, he decided to keep it all in house.
Kuzma is definitely a great piece, especially since I believe he has 3 years of control with team options. Lonzo? No I don't buy it. I think there is potential there but there is a LOT of drama that comes with him. I absolutely think that will scare teams. The Spurs just had a guy quit on them so he could get traded to get a better shoe deal, are they going to want to take on a guy who's dad has already threatened to have his son quit if the team he plays for doesn't get his other brothers contracts?
Right, good point... I keep forgetting his cap hold is $12 million, not lower. My bad. But yeah.... For those that aren't paying attention... the NBA is evolving again to a versatile wing league. Not that you can't have GREAT all-time GREAT players at other positions. Just that everybody wants these 6'8 ish (well, or taller), fluid, athletic, three point shooting guys that can defend at least 3 positions. You could literally just not even have a traditional PG anymore if you had enough of those guys. Even Harden KIND OF fits into this mold. He's not there defensively, but if you think about it he "can" defend 1-4... and frankly is probably better defending the 4 than the 1 or 2.
Man, give me Saric over Ingram. Maybe I'll end up looking dumb, but I really like what Saric brings to the team.
