Are you thinking that you'd take back enough salary so that OKC wouldn't be over the apron st the completion of the trade? Okc is way over the cap and we could, at most, take back 125% of what we sent out. In order to take back enough to get OKC below the apron, we would have to be sending out $90m ro $100m in salary. This not going to happen.
Actually, I had the wrong cap number for OKC. We would have to send out about $60m in salary. So, the amount is smaller but still not going to happen.

My total speculation. This Jeanie Buss tweet.... Buss probably got official word that PG is going to come to LA. And perhaps got word from LBJ's people that for LBJ to come to LA they need 1) PG and 2) another star. So Buss is happy they got the first part. Now they shop for the 3rd star. And that could take some time. Time INTO July. Meanwhile, LBJ can wait and see what LA does and also has the Philly option as well. But in this scenario, Rockets are out.
I was referring to the Ariza-for-PG13 SnT swap that was mentioned. They would be the laughing stock of the league if all they had to show for PG13 (and Oladipo & company) was Ariza + filler. You’re out of your mind if you think OKC is going to help us out via blockbuster trade twice.

Ariza can't be involved in any trade for a big name right? Cuz he can't be attached to anyone else in a sign and trade and that means the contracts won't match right?
