That's not true. A QO CC is worth 0 . But an overpaid one depending on how overpaid he is and injuries/level of play can easily be worth MINUS. 0 > -
can the Kings move their butts and finish their moves? They and the Spurs are the ones everyone is waiting for.
"Easily" is taking it too far. Capela has elevated his level of play every year he's been in the league and hasn't shown any sign of being injury-prone. His max is ~$25 MM. Gobert and Adams make that much and I'd argue they both are positive trade assets. Why would it be different for Capela?
Umm why is he meeting with teams if he waived his no trade clause already or....is that not how it works? He no longer has any freedom to choose if he waived it yea?
He won't be traded to Miami or Houston, he'd be traded to another team like Atlanta or Chicago with the agreement that they would waive him. This will save OKC a TON of money. Then he would be a free agent. As this is all agreed upon and he WILL be a free agent either way, the Thunder allowed him to speak with Miami and HOU to figure out where he wants to sign.
hahahahahahahahahaha you uses to be a respectable poster with rational content. i have no idea what happened to you after the season ended honestly
Oh alright that makes sense, thanks for the explanation. Appreciate it. I wish it was more like this though so we could get rid of Anderson XD
Yes. They'll pay out picks to move Anthony for what will probably be a smaller salary and this will generate a trade exception. Think Melo to Chicago for Omer Asik (just a hypothetical.) They then waive Asik. Saves them a lot more than stretching Melo outright.
My man, you know thats not true. And I'm with you on alot of things. I'm not pessimistic like these guys either. I believe Morey knows what he doing. But I also understand that those guys were very good players for us.
Miami is suppose to be a serious contender too. He did also meet with GS brass in Vegas the same night he talked with our guys.
