With the current trend going for us im sure melo would go to lakers for the min or sign with the warriors for free meals.
My favourites here are: Trez O'Quinn Okafor (yeah i know, but still, would give a chance) Bjelica Luc Ellington VC (just because i'd like to have him play here for once lol) Hood would be a potential steal just because he seems to be the opposite of Ryan, shoots 80% in Toyota Center lol
Should the rockets swoop Tony? Solid backup for Paul. This is what we need, CP3 to rest more in regular season
The deck is very much stacked against them, even if they got another max player they wouldn't be favored against either the Rockets or Warriors.
If they added kawhi I bet they would be favored against us Technically they are already favored over us
I thought about this a few days ago. CP3 and Tony are tight, but we already signed MCW. We need wings and a big man.
The statement states that Cousins is a bad fit...which has nothing to do with his health, but his style of play. If the Rockets avoided him because of "fit", then thats stupid. Also, he'll be back to solid form. The reason it is deemed as such a catastrophic injury is because it's happened to players that are either on the older side or that rely on athleticism to succeed. Neither of those really describe Boogie. He's young and he doesnt play fast. Even if he returns to 80% of his self, that's still all start level.
Well positive note is that if Cousins is playing more, then we'll be able to play Capella more. And Capella will roast him in the PNR cause Cousins will does not play defense.
I'm cool with you guys believing that he'll beat the odds and be the first NBA big man to bounce back from an Achilles tear and be back to solid form....but I see no reason to expect the miracle to happen. When you want to argue "fit" on the Rockets, they already have a staring center and aren't in the market for a physically broken head case.
The fit has to do with him not having starting spot here. If they didn’t intend on bring Capela back then maybe. But both doesn’t fit.
They'd cut MCW in a heartbeat if it meant adding someone that can help. Tony Parker I'm just not sure fits. Cant shoot 3s. Not great creating offense for others anymore. Getting a bit old and beat down to score in the places he normally likes to.
Tony Parker wouldn’t likely have interest here. Because of the way we run our team there is no true backup PG role. We have three guys who get the guard minutes. MCW signed here because he’s on the bubble as far as even being in the league. Parker will at least want guaranteed backup minutes. This is the same reason Jameer Nelson didn’t want to come here
