Well most of their players are in their 20s so it's not shocking they are healthy in the playoffs. Most of our players are in their 30s.
Sure, but you'd be doing that not expecting anything at all. I mean, would gimped up Boogie be better than Nene? Maybe? I just don't see him as a big deal no matter where he's at since he's unlikely to play at even a league replacement level and might not ever play again.
and their guys have been injured including both their mvps. they just plan their injuries early enough to where they can all be available for the playoffs when they need it most.....
Exactly, they would’ve chopped it up and would’ve been well. Lance and bron are on the same team! Cousins is viewed as a far worse fit for us than Clint, and rightfully so. That’s why he wasn’t signed
of course. Do you think most other teams' fans like and watch the Rockets? They don't and most hope they fail. Because they don't like Harden. On top of it there are not many analysts and medi who are hyping them up so there you have it.
yes let's trade cp3 for expiring contracts and cap flexibility this year. maybe a young asset and a draft pick too. seems like a good idea.
Rockets lost Ariza. As of today they are worse. But that is "today." Let's see where they are a couple of months from now. I think most fans/media overrate Ariza a bit. There are a lot of Rockets fans that underrate Ariza's importance as well. The reality is somewhere in the middle.
I thought it was obvious? We would have another player to demolish in the pick and roll, along with Steph and Cousins. Also, another player to take away shots from Steph and Durant, but a FAR LESS efficient player. Please for the love of god, SIGN CARMELO GSW!
Maybe? Bra Nene is TRASH. He had a good run, but he’s done. Cousins was the best center in the NBA. Cousins at 50 percent is better than Nene.
Yeah, maybe. Perhaps you don't understand the severity of the injury. It's most likely that he doesn't return at all and if he does he might not make it for much longer before awful performance leads to retirement. If you look at Achilles injuries that's usually what you get....especially when you look at big men.
Well, as today, we lost Ariza and we're one year older with different key players well over 30 on the roster, meanwhile Warriors and OKC kept all the key players they had and added some talent here and there, and they're both younger teams than us, i mean, i can see why they think that, they probably think it's possible we lose Capela and/or Luc too. EDIT: jumped into the last page and saw Deuce post, i'm late again lol On a side note though, for some reason the Rockets are always underrated before the season starts, when we lost Parsons we were doomed...when we lost Dwight we were doomed...when CP3 came here we were doomed cause it wouldn't have work with Harden...now we're doomed because we lost Trevor.
Yeah the reality is losing Ariza is a loss, but even if we were to have kept him, we would be worse than last year because he was already showing signs of decline. The anxiety right now is 80% of last years Ariza is still better than the hole we're looking at right now at SF. It's testing everyone's trust and patience for Morey to find a better and longer-term solution for the 3 spot. Options are limited, assets are even more limited. But morey is creative and if there's a way he'll know well before any of us. It's the waiting and being in the dark that has us all a little on edge and worried.
without even arguing some of your 6, let's just consider 'his crazy antics'. Sac got trashed for how little they rec'd' no team pushed to get him this time. Why? Why oh why? And next year's freer $$$ summer will = what contract from which teams?
I think the generally held opinion outside of Houston is that even if Houston returns the same team, they’ll be very good, but a step below the Warriors and assuming Lakers do eventually trade for Kawhi, the Rockets might find themselves below the Lakers as well
