I posted this in the Butler thread that's already on the GARM (smh)... Hate to be the @Codman signature guy (though I am pretty convinced I know who he is and, if true, he's legit) BUT: "Phoenix/Mil/AtL/Sac are cleaning. And, save the Freebird(s) in Minny.;" Wiggins and Butler are both "birds", especially Jimmu Butler (Marquette Golden Eagles-- a bird that represents freedom...)
That's fair, I have no doubt that Boston and a few other teams could beat that offer, but would they?
I would think that they could do better than that. Also Minnesota is going to be in cap hell the next few years so they'd probably be looking for low price young guys with upside and picks (better than ours).
The two of you need to pack your bags and leave this forum and don't tell anyone u were a rockets fan. First of all. Boogie is able to be signed for 5 mils not because he is only worth 5 mils. It is because he wants to chase a ring. He called warriors and knowing that they have 5 mils left and needed a center as McGee went to Lakers. Any other team would be more than 5 mils. Only day two on FA market and you seriously think no one would take on a chance with boogie? He's only 27 yrs old not like Kobe when he had that injury at the end of his career. Second of all. While boogie chasing his ring he gets to have the whole season if needed to rehab his injury. Warriors don't need him until final if ever. Lastly, if boogie is productive at all he can command a max contract after he won a ring with anyone.. He proved he is back after the injury while playing with GSW. It is a win win for him. If he's not back 100%, he can remain with GSW to win more rings. Green may not get his max contract and boogie if serviceable can replace that void.
Morey should bring back Michael Beasley. We need another scorer that can potentially start for this team at the 3 or 4.
Hard pass. He gives up more points than he scores when he's on the court. He makes Melo look like a great defender.
Well yeah, I mean if he scored more points than he gave up that would be one thing, but he can single handedly help get the other team back in the game just by putting him on the court.
He wouldn’t get his 15 either way. That’s what’s non-guaranteed means. He wouldn’t be guaranteed to get it.
Right...the guy has gotten worse every year he has been in the league. Hope he proves us wrong and plays well off the bench.
