OKC saves sooo much money just letting melo go. No way they trade for Anderson especially with that extra year.
they are going all in (im sure they think Ryan Anderson helps them more then Melo ) Rockets probably thinking Melo helps us more than Anderson (Since Anderson didn't even get playing time)
Melo has a no trade clause, we wouldn't be able to trade him and we wouldn't have any cap space anyway next summer, even with his contract off the books.
