Well if we only offer 5 million dollars then Capela SHOULD go and take his QO. Because that's plain insulting.
The team itself can also offer contracts not only match. And also the RFA can threaten the team to sign the QO where at this point the team usually raises their offer.

So if we only offer 5 million dollars no matter the risk then we deserve all the blame for being idiots and letting Capela leave for nothing next year.

Sign him to a 3 year/ $75 million deal and trade him to Washington for Otto Porter

Move Anderson and a 1st to Phoenix to reunite with his pal Trevor and bring back Tyson Chandler and Jared Dudley

NBA beefs are as a real as WWE beefs.

I'm sure this was posted earlier today but I wouldn't get my hopes up on Evans. More likely to be pissed off (again) when he signs for cheap with one of these teams...

what numbers do you think he would agree to? 4/70, for instance?

Who will play 5 for the Rockets? Clint is more important to Rockets system then 3-D wing.

Tyson Chandler would play Nene role on Rockets, he can't switch everything and he's lost a lot of his hops. Clint is part of big 3 for a reason.

That tweet went out before the Lakers signed Rondo and before the Warriors signed Cousins.

It's down to the Thunder and the Hornets. After that *rubs palms together in a suggestive manner*

Yes, his market unexpectedly sucks after everyone was clamoring near max deals, probably his agent too. Problem is, even if he's worth it, no one has the money to spend right now. Unlike that time we gave Ryno $80 million, wow!

Again, Brooklyn would have some new space when they buy out Dwight, whether they use it on Capela or not, remains to be seen.

Can't discount him taking the minimum! ;) Those Cali teams do a good job convincing players to take less.

Look I'm here to sell you on the Otto Porter Movement alright? The rest is just details....that can be found in our monthly pamphlet. We also have a 10% off coupon on the back of basketballholic's insider newsletter that's good for Houston Rocket Seth Curry merch.

He doesn't have a history of serious injuries.
He knows that the Rockets need him this year.
He also knows that with CP3 and Harden his value won't drop if he takes the QO.
There will be tons of money in the market next year and few stars.
He also sees more than half the FAs this season decide to go for 1 year deals.

So I think it will have to be at just the number that is satisfying for him not to take the QO. Maybe 18 per.
If it's lower than say 15 then I don't see how he will accept it unless there is something we don't know (injury).

He's a back up now, not a starter. There is no way he can exert the same effort on both ends of court, play Clint's minutes and/or be as productive.

He can't switch everything on D either.

That’s a good reasonable deal. Personally I’m hoping for 4/60. That would be great having him at that price tag. I’d be happy at 4/80. 4/90 and up is when I start getting nervous

    It’s only July 2nd and I’m tired:
I’m tired that the Warriors got better
I’m tired that the Lakers got LeBron
I’m tired that the Thunder got better
I’m tired of all the BS cryptic post from the so-called insiders
I’m tired that we only signed CP3 and lost Ariza
I’m tired that Murray just eats bacon while the rest of the league is getting better
I’m tired of seeing Woj bombs and no Rockets
I’m tired that we were one win away from a championship

Sorry guys, I’m just tired ☹️
