He's an all star and still rebounds at a high level. An upgrade that allows Tucker to come off the bench which would strengthen our second unit. Love had a decent Finals, he's no warm body IMO.
I think Ingram is the wildcard, but yes I don’t really like that team as it stands. Moving pieces for Kawhi make that team make a lot more sense.
He someone you would have to gameplan against over Ryan Anderson. Good rebounder, decent outside shot, above average passer for just a late first round pick. This would be a steal especially if we keep Clint at a discount. Playing with house money!
No you wouldn't because he's a bad defender. That's where the conversation ends. We can't afford bad defenders in big playoff games. If you watched the finals the last 2 years you'd know how cooked Kevin Love got. This would be a huge waste of a Ryno trade. You should only trade Ryno for someone that can actually help you against the Warriors or not at all. Wed be giving away a pick for a slightly more expensive Ryno.
That won’t be the starting lineup. It will look more like this: Stephenson Rondo James Kuzma Ingram They will play small ball with Walton running the offense, just like GS. Something tells me they aren’t done either. I could see them signing a shooter like Redick. And not everything be sucks. Randle was a BIG loss but Kuzma is a 6’10” guy that scored on par with Curry as a rookie. He can hit the 3 and score down low. Ingram is solid. Again, they aren’t done. With Randle they could’ve completed for the West. Without him I doubt it but they will still win 50 games.
I know i was just reacting to all this speculation i been hearing. In reality i don't see us throwing out that lineup. We may get one of Love or Melo though.
The Lakers supposedly used the Room MLE on Stephenson, so they don't have a NT-MLE available to use. Spoiler: Bobby Marks' details...
No he's not. A small ball center has to have to ability to defend 2-5 almost. Kevin Love can only manage to defend Ok 4s and 5s. Kevin Love is slow and a poor defensive player. This isn't 2010.
