Oh wow, the MLE is 9 mil, that's higher than I expected. Yeah if it's 2/18 then he likely went for the MLE, what a steal. Still have to renounce Boogie to get the Non-Taxpayer MLE tho.
in my opinion it is just the right number. At the limit of being non acceptable but high enough to make him think of the risks.
I would also add Philadelphia in that group. A Cousins-Embiid pairing could be really good. Then they could trade Saric in a deal for Kawhi.
Seeing these deals... kudos to Ariza for getting 15. Wow. He worked PHX. He might make more than Capela.
there's something wrong when a young talented big like Randle signs with New Orleans for 2-yrs $18 mil, while just two years earlier, Houston gives Ryan Anderson 4-yrs $80. The nba is nuts. these contracts make no sense.
Lakers Depth Chart: PG: Lonzo Ball - Rajan Rondo SG: KCP- Lance Stephenson - Svi Mykhailiuk SF: Brandon Ingram - Josh Hart PF: LeBron James - Kyle Kuzma C: Javale McGee - Mo Wagner No hating. I don't see this as a playoff roster. Every single player sucks except Lebron. Not shooting, the C and the SF rotation are laughable and the PG is probably one of the worst 5 in the league. Utah, Denver, Minnesota Portland..how can any of those teams do worse than THIS?
How much salary do they need to clear to have the non-taxpayer MLE available to them? Tax is $123 MM. Current salary commitments ($103 MM) + Boogie's cap hold ($28 MM): $131 Couldn't they deal Moore or Hill for no salary, and retain Boogie's rights? Cousins doesn't fit in their crowded front court, but he could be SnT'd for an asset
I don't want Kevin love. I don't want a $20 million dollar warm body. He does nothing for the Rockets against the warriors. Nothing. Morey please.
I have a feeling that once Brooklyn buys out Dwight, they will have the cap room needed to make Capela an offer. Then Dwight signs with the Warriors for the vet minimum to replace McGee.
