I think LeBron is happy that his legacy will only stay in Ceveland. If LeBron can't get 3 more rings then he will be buried behind Kobe. He won't be the GOAT. His decision is all about money and his empire outside of NBA. He will be lucky to even get one ring. Having Kawhi will get him that one ring. People forgetting that coach pop is the reason Kawhi is that great of a player. Sure Kawhi is great but he is not the top 3 players without Pop.
It is obvious the Lakers are signing players to 1 year deals to keep MAX cap room for Kawhi. So, they can trade for him OR just sign him next summer. Will Kawhi get traded to Philly and get sucked into the system like PG did with OKC? Hopefully.

I'm not a cap girl either but as far I know: The waive and stretching is against the circumventing rules according to Coon. So forget it. It's either simple streching or trading away. I think they can have about 40 million or so? In any case if Randle takes like 18 million things will be tight.
They will be able to open up a max slot easily, they won't keep Randle on a unmovable deal, they might as well lose him for nothing if he sign s a bad contract at this point.
