well of course the issue is that he could die, not that he definitely will die, but no team is taking that risk

Huh? Teams have every right to not want to sign him due to his serious health concerns. For all we know, he could play 3-4 years, or he could have another health scare, or he could die.

I get looking at it from the worst possible outcome side of things, but there’s 2 sides to every story. Coaches and organizations always ask the player how he/she feels when rehabbing from injury before they are cleared medically. I’ve played high school and college ball and that was always the case. What’s the difference here? The game doesn’t come before life for any rational human being, so if he says he’s good to go I will take his word for it.

LeMarcus Aldridge going to the Lakers.

Westbrook’s agency feeding Woj lies to confuse LeBron

Claiming he was the source for SAS saying LeBron is in Miami.

Yep it’s the team right to sign or not sign who they want but it’s ashame he’s treated this way, as of this moment he has no health issues and it ducks to be treated like he’s crippled.

If the dude says he can play then let him play.

I guess I can relate because people tried to keep me out of a sport due to my health concerns but I proved them all wrong. Obviously not quiete as serious but pretty concerning

not sure what you playing has anything to do with whats being discussed here but ok

if you're going to take this route and a players word. take the most recent example, MP says hes completely healthy. Well the rest of the world found out that just isn't true and now hes projected to miss all of upcoming season.

I get it, but I can’t blame any organization for not wanting to sign him...I know if I were a GM there is no way in hell I’d ever add him to the roster...the risk is just too high and the consequences are too serious

if he wants to play it's his responsibillity. He can go play on a park, in his house etc
However the NBA is Entertainment. Tell me would you like to have small kids watch a man die on the court? That's why it's impossible no matter if he signs any papers to have him play. He's at a very elevated risk of death by participating in contact sports.

Realistically how many good seasons does Lebron have left?. I’m thinking he’s one bad injury away from losing a few steps. Melo and wade have already nosed dived. I know he does a lot of treatment to keep his body healthy but I just feel like it’s coming soon.

We didn't have assets last year and still swung CP3. I would say that Beverley, Dekker and Harrell are better than our youth that we currently have but Capela and Gordon have great value.

What will it take to dump Anderson? That can clear up to 20 mill. If we can do that, we don't have to take a tier 1 star, we can grab Avery Bradley and Tyreke Evans. We could get Isaiah Thomas on the cheap. We can get several smaller pieces that can contribute in the regular season and possibly the post season too.

We are already a fantastic group, even if we can't shed Ryan he's fine for the regular season. But if we could shed Ryan, we have millions to throw at free agents that can make a difference.

Side note, I'm a bona fide IT hater but coming of the injury and underwhelming season I don't think he's going to be extensive and he can make an impact... Thigh I wouldn't risk it if he's cancer like he was in Cleveland.

My question is why would the Rockets be looking to trade Eric Gordon before getting a commitment from PG or Lebron first?

Yep enjoy being a laker bron, can't wait to face the fakers in the players and beat the **** out of him.

Time to get rid of Anderson, resign cp3 and Capela and add some to the players to the bench.

Jimmy Butler is the answer. Lower key star, work horse and can play defense. I mean really he can do it all. To top it off a Texas native and was a rockets fan as a kid.

I get the concerns, it’s just crazy to think that you can try and keep somebody from achieving there dreams based on chance. You hear tons of stories of people overcoming things and it’s sad because really at this moment his health is fine with no concerns it’s just that it might happen again I just find that crazy.
