LeBron going to LA is for his BRAND (and family). He'll make them better but I still think the Rockets and Dubs are the teams to beat.

Hence, why Cavs and Suns are in trade talks. You have to believe they know what Lebron wants to happen. If he wants Kawhi, Cavs will try to add him and then get Lebron to opt-in and stay. Makes sense. Why not.
If they are just trying to leverage the Celtics then they are wasting their time. Ainge is more likely to lower an offer than increase it lol. The Lakers have very little worthwhile and they already have all of the leverage against them because the Lakers are desperate to get Kawhi....why would thy need to make a leverage play on that team? It's the Celtics that the Spurs have very little leverage over and that's the team they want to trade Kawhi to.
Ainge like Morey has done in the past, is engaging with the spurs purely to raise the Laker's price. Even the leak that "we have questions about his health" to anyone who is a little familiar with the Celtics M.O means we want him at all costs.
