Chris Paul told the Clippers the teams he was considering. At some point Lebron has to tell the Cavs so they can try to work out trade scenarios. It would seem impossible that he would opt in and THEN tell the Cavs because ultimately they have to be able to make a workable deal. The Cavs and Rockets have to have conversations about a trade at some point if that's going to happen.

This is an interesting take. It is one that Jalen Rose has brought up before. The "fun factor." The Spurs run things a certain way, and it might apply well to certain mindsets, but perhaps other mindsets it feels onerous.
Is Kawhi a stoner? Would explain a lot because he's an introvert like KD. Getting to a weed friendly state is another benefit that he's looking for.. just like KD!
This is no timetable to this. It might have been last week or early this week. Hard to get someone to go with you at the last minute. Even if Lakers go all in on Kwahi and hope LeBron comes, will they have enough left to compete for a C'hip? I don't know. Spurs are going to get their best offer from LA today. We'll see. Hope he is still a Spur Monday.
KL seems like the least fun dude. Hard to believe he is all about "fun" dude doesn't even f*cking talk.
Lonzo was a high FRP last year. I think his value hasn’t moved much from that. Moving from Deng’s two year deal to Chandler’s expiring deal is worth less than that in a vacuum, but PHX knows that LA needs to move quick so they have some leverage here. I’d be surprised if PHX gave up anything more than a Heavily protected FRP in a potential Lonzo deal. Either way, the framework of the deal (Lonzo and Deng for Chandler) makes sense for both teams.
Harden could go for 35/10/10 and still not win MVP next year. Media will be desperate to give it to Lebron next year.
Everyone judging LeBron on speculation from media members who know nothing of Lebrons thinking and their constant push for the LA narrative. It’s possible he does want LA more than anything, but Stupid A. Smith doesn’t know. No one knows except LeBron and his inner most circle. To judge him because the LA biased media is being biased is asinine. Have patience people
Maybe we should just pull an OKC and trade everything for Kawhi...lol Just for fun but, would be possible on paper in terms of salary etc to trade Capela, Gordon and picks/fillers to the Spurs for Kawhi @aelliott ?
Tim Legler and his co-host on the radio said that yesterday around 1:00. Basically that no one really likes to watch Harden play, don't really care for him and his style, don't think he's the best player, think he's not good in the playoffs, etc. There's a lot of backlash in the media bout Harden getting this MVP and that it's unlikely he could ever win another one.
The rule is that he has to earn it 3 times before he's given it once, so the soonest he could be given another MVP award would be 3 seasons from now.
Half the people who "don't like to watch Harden play", don't actually watch Harden play. They saw the viral defense video, saw that it was trendy to make fun of James Harden, and just let that stick. They don't actually watch him play.
ESPN started the LeBron for MVP hype train with their "raw totals" garbage. Threw that out as soon as Harden won MVP. Then promoted a story with a Kyrie quote. Ridiculous. And then if you get LeBron in LA.....the hype meter will be off the charts.
This is an underrated reason why Lebron will end up in LA. He knows the media will salivate over his every move for making the Lakers relevant again.
