FS1 just reported that Lebron asked Messi and Ronaldo to leave the World Cup to come to LA as well. Dude really wants to make it work in LA.
I also thought that we needed a stretch 4, but the minute I got the notification saying “Rockets sign Ryno to a 4/80 deal” my immediate reaction was 1 because it was 4 years with no team option, and 2 because he just wasn’t worth the money...teams were handing out bad contracts left and right that summer, and we ended up being 1 of them if people want to act like the signing wasn’t a mistake then Idk what to say...any contract that requires at least 2 1st round picks just for a team to even think about taking it or gets u another sh*tty contract in return is a mistake to me...it’s compounded by the fact that Ryno has gone to somewhat useful to completely useless
Anybody remember when Codman posted the last time? He said pieces would've started to fall in 5 days right? But i don't remember if he posted that 3 or 4 days ago, or was it 5?
If this is true and that is a big "IF" with the source being SAS Durant's response alone should be enough to convince him that Houston is where he needs to go. Durant's trying to win titles LeBron what you trying to do???
and in one of Cod’s comment or post is that watch out for Phoenix...is that the trade coming mentioned on another thread?
this is hindsight though. As i previously posted things change, which is specifically the way Houston plays against GS as they have shifted their focus more to the defensive end. That wasn't how it was when The rockets first signed ryno and EG. and unfortunately now, it limits guys like Ryno with this gameplan. GS is the only team that does this obviously bc of matchup purposes. It also has a ton to do with the guys who came here after cp3 signed. I can't really agree that the steps taken before the rockets are where they are now are a mistake. They needed all these core guys to get to this point.
SAS: It's looking more & more likely if they(Lakers) get anyone, it'll be one or two but not all three. Likely because Paul George will end up staying in OKC. Not saying that's definitive but that's the way it's looking.
PHX is going to help the Lakers. Even if they aren't absorbing Deng, I can definitely see them trading Chandler and a protected first to the Lakers for Ball. That gives the Lakers another 1st to package for Kawhi.
