Lebron to Phoenix confirmed. On a side note, if the Suns are going to somehow help the Lakers taking back Lonzo for picks etc, i'm going to hate them even more.
Apparently not the same guy, used that handle as a joke, reads the forums, looking at his history he’s right sometimes.
haha I don't think that Lonzo needs picks to be traded. You mean Deng? Probably Chandler is about to get traded. Hence the big.
I don't see what's wrong with this tweet. Every indication was that Melo wanted to be here above all other places. NY just wouldn't want to play ball after firing PJ.
The player has to notify his team prior to June 30th (actual language in the CBA). So you could wait until just before midnight on Friday.
Lebron has a "Player Option" which is an option to extend his contract an extra year. So in this case, he must notify the team prior to June 30th if he is exercising his option (i.e. extending an additional year). If he didn't notify them then he would be a FA as of June 30th. There are contracts that contain "Early Termination Options". Those allow the player to cancel his contract a year early. In those cases the player has to notify the team prior to June 30th if they are terminating the final year of their deal. If they don't notify the team then the final year of their contract is still in effect.
