So I'm going to my first Rockets playoff game ever. Not sure what to expect honestly. Have a couple of questions for you vets out there. Would sure appreciate your help. This time around I don't have a parking pass for the garage. Where to park? I already have one extra ticket that doesn't look like it's gunna be sold by game time, and I might have as many as 6 that I have to get rid off . Do people really look for tickets on the streets outside Toyota Center?? My apologies if this is the wrong thread!! P.S. My prediction tomorrow is the Chuck Wagon will save us.
Dude, I don't think it'd be hard to "get rid" of those tickets. Parking is going to be hella expensive, FYI.
Get down there early and get a free metered spot. Use the buy/sell forum to get rid of your tickets. Have fun, wear red, and be loud!!
Yeah I'm not getting very many bites on classified forum. That's why I was worried I might end up with as many as six extra tickets when I reach Toyota Center. I'm afraid I'm gonna take a hit in the wallet if I can't move them. P.S. Sec 402, Row 2
SWTsig, e-mail me shiva1184@yahoo.com and we can discuss...I'm afraid I'm cluttering the forum. Thanks!
omair, As far as parking goes, just get there early because parking meters are free after 6. If you are going to I-45 south, the best place is on LaBranch between Pease and Jefferson. After the game, you take a left on Jefferson and then you are gone.
The price of the parking lot is inversely proportional to the distance from Toyota Center. Look for a parking lot 5-6 blocks away, there is plenty. They are going to be charging a fortune close to Toyota Center.
you have jitters? man i am going nuts here. 19 years i've been waiting to go to houston to attend a rockets game and now i am going to attend a rockets home playoff game!!!!! i have been jumping around the office all day..all my coworkers wish that i have left already so that they wouldnt have to hear about how in 24 hours i'll be on a plane to houston and how i am gonna be living a dream. i CANT WAIT AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
