Home Improvement was on for 8 years. That's not what would be considered "cut short".

Home improvement was good, but was done for, the abc family sitcom days were at its end and tgif too. Were they going to follow the sons into college?

And Better off Ted until recently was still being wrongfully done. They just posted the last two episodes on itunes/netflix. I had been waiting for the finale since june, but they never aired.

I had previously held off on firefly because a friend of mine, a firefly fan, took me to see Serenity. And I thought it was an entertaining but ultimately forgettable movie. But I finally got around to watching firefly after reading all the hype here on clutchfans. And I must say it's definitely very nice, with the rich storytelling I love in a show.

Too bad it's only 14 episodes though. :(

I really liked Veronica Mars until the last season. I'm glad it ended when it did.

    Scrubs Med School...

Even though I now people will disagree, I think they should have continued with the scrubs med school spin off, I thought it had some decent episodes, with potential to grow...

This one of my favorite scenes of the last season...

John From Cincinnati. Only lasted one season on HBO so never really figured out what the hell it was about. I really enjoyed it though and wish they would have done another season.

scrubs was a good show and it definitely had some good moments. but once they switched over and JD, Elliot, and Turk weren't on the show any more, it seemed like they tried too hard to make it appealing.

Just saw all 4 season of my name us Earl on netflix. Season 1 and 2 were great but 3 and 4 were mediocre at best but would still liked to see him finish his list. Left us with a cliffhanger with darnell not being the black boy's father.

they never left the show. Elliot had a much smaller role in the last season. But turk was still a main character and JD was in almost every episode.

I just finished watching Pushing Daisies on netflix. I think that show should have been on the list. It was great, but only lasted two short seasons. :(

You are right. That was a very funny show.

Carnivale was really terrific. I wish that show would have come back for more.

There were a couple of Dabney Coleman shows that I saw later after they'd gone off that were hilarious. Buffalo Bill was one of them, and I can't remember the other one which was basically the same concept. It was just him going around playing the hilarious jerk character.

Freaks and Geeks definitely deserves to be mentioned. The cast in that show was sensational. People have already mentioned the stoner crowd casting, but the young geeks were really well cast also. Joe Flaherty is always good as well.

Probably the biggest one not on the list is Chris Elliot's Get A Life. That series was the best. Add in Ben Stiller's series too.
