The most important thing to take from all this season is that UH has scoreboard over Rice. Also, Case Keenum will set the NCAA Record for Passing Yards in a Season.
Armed Forces Bowl versus Air Force again should be a good game. 4 of the 5 Air Force losses were less than 7 points. Air Force runs the ball well and UH can't stop the run. UH should win but should be a close game.
Yep. Most of the guys are coming back next year so this should be fun. I'm contemplating going to the UCLA game.
I be surprised if UH plays Air Force again. One, it would be the third time the teams will have played in little more than a year, and two, Air Force cancelled UH's return game. There was talk of UH going to the Eaglebank Bowl in DC.
If he has same kind of season next year as he did this one, he'll also set the all time career passing and td records.
Always happens when we play a good DL, the run game has evaporated with the injuries to our OL and more recently Bryce Beall.
Understandable, Keenum looks like a real deal, really haven't watched him, but is the system really good for him? Does he have a strong arm?
Keenum had one pass over 30 yards all day and it was picked off to end the game. He did have three amazing throws between 15 and 25 yards though that were literally threading the needle between 2-3 defenders for touchdowns. Keenum giveth and Keenum taketh away. Amen.
I haven't read this whole thread and didn't watch the game, but didn't Keenum almost set a record for most passes completed in a game? The record for most attempts in a game is 80-something I think.
and he really tooketh away today. I saw more "tosses" from him today than in any other game this season. The pressure from the d-line was good, so I guess you kind of expect it, but it was still painful. This was the first game I watched where I really thought he needed to come back for his senior season.
Meh. He threw some lobs, but he threw some passes I don't think Peyton Manning could make too. I'm so stoked for next year. This team is going to kick some major ass.
