I really hope UH wins. If they do, the Liberty Bowl v. Arkansas should be one of the more exciting games of bowl season. ESPN would hype it up for Keenum v. Mallett.
The LB was threatening to invite UH even without a CUSA title since it was a sexy matchup. I hope they do.
Wow. C-USA has a championship game? So UH has to earn the right to play a pedestrian Arkansas team that was only better than 2 teams in their entire conference this year? Wow. What do they get if they lose? Steak knives?
It doesn't. But I still stand by what I said after the Tech game. All that said, if UH loses, do they go to a bowl at all? If so, which one? I really would've thought UH would be getting a better match up than a non-ranked Arkansas team.
Arkansas plays in this tough conference called the South Eastern Conference, so if they play mediocre football there, its good enough to garner them a bowl game against a team who played dominant football in a lesser conference. Plus both teams feature great QBs and explosive offenses. Probably be a high-scoring affair, entertaining game.
So why be a troll? I think the other options are Armed Forces, GMAC & Eagle Bank Bowl. Typically no non-BCS team will ever end up playing a ranked BCS team in their bowl game unless they make a BCS bowl or a BCS conference has a TON of ranked teams that are bowl eligible and one manages to fall down to them.
Since Case needs 900 yards to break the passing yards record for a single season, does he get this game and the bowl game to reach it or do bowl games not count in records like this? Coogs 41 ECU 24
