combine that with the fact that dick cheney's daughter is a rug muncher and this country is going straight to hell
silly perhaps, but legal. you are using opinion to define 'underage' on this topic. She is not a child. 17 years old, she should be able to fend for herself. but frankly, I agree with you, she is too young to have a baby. But legaly, she has done nothing wrong.
Unless she has been emancipated, I am pretty sure she is still a child. 18 is the legal and de facto adult age in this country. I agree, nothing was done illegally though.
It's not whether she did anything legally wrong. It's the fact that Palin is supposed to pull the religious rights vote because of her family values, etc. Within a week of being announced as the VP nominee, she comes out with a teenage kid that's pregnant. Hello hypocrisy. The fanatical churchies are not going to likey. Pro choice or not, that's not how they roll.
Because real life is not an episode of Friends. With proper, regular use, condoms work 98% of the time. And kids in conservative environments are probably less likely to purchase condoms, lest they tip off their friends or parents.
yes, because all churchie voters believe our VP should walk on water. signed, Dick Cheneys gay daughter.
Looks like that there librul mediuh at Fox News done got a hold of this scoop: http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/01/palins-17-year-old-daughter-is-pregnant/
is that why he apologized to the Clintons for the remark? how about the one where he calls his wife a c--t? this guy is a real joker! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bPnfnB7fRek&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bPnfnB7fRek&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Will anyone be surprised if after the election is over that she turns out NOT to be pregnant anymore? I think it is clear that McCain said that they put this out there to combat the rumors that her daughter was the actual mother of the infant. But in reality, it doesn't work. They said she is ALMOST 5 months pregnant. That could be 3 months, or whatever. Even if she had a baby in late March or April, since I am not sure about the baby's bday, she could still be pregnant again. So I am not buying any koolaid until time passes. I know that they think as long as they can kill the rumor until the election is over, that's all that matters. So I am not buying the rumor or the explanation as of yet. I am sure that many people will continue to investigate both. You can't be an unknown VP candidate and expect to not get seriously vetted by society, the media and the other campaign...it would be naive to think so. One thing I do know, everytime I see them on tv, the older daugher is the one holding baby Trig. Go figure. Maybe she is just practicing.
I'm just really surprised that McCain's campaign would bring these sorts of issues into his run. Doesn't seem very well thought out.
Ok smartass, judgement is a way to spell the word, just like colour and color are interchangeable or theater and theatre. Judgement is the old english spelling. Misspelling = high school eh.. Grats on the non-sequitur As for the actual issue, it'll be like any stupid issue that's come up during the campaign. People on 24 hour news networks will buzz about it for a week and then people will forget. The kid ****ed up, now let her deal with it. This will get overshadowed by issues that actually matter.
Wow! I never saw that piece on John McCain, but it has made me lose ANY bit of respect that I had for the man at all! He is a sicko and I hope that some outside 527 or something finally puts together all the bad jokes, insults, flipflops and bad things he has said, especially against women; into one campaign add that runs nationwide before the election. I know that the Obama just won't do it. I really wish that the republicans had a candidate that one could debate policies and issues about to decide who is best to lead this country. But McCain is a hot head, tempermental, bad judgment and bad joke wreck of a candidate! I might consider relocating to another country if this fool wins. I honestly would rather vote for Palin alone as president as this dude.
