I just believe this team is going to blow up, Tmac is getting healthy, the team has lots of young players that are playing well. So many pieces, if one is not working try another. I believe Adelman has figured out whom he can use and whom he can't. And February is a great month to build confidence. DD
If you guys have any questions/topics for tomorrow morning's show, please feel free to post them. Thanks ...
I know a trade for Mike Miller would be nice but im afraid it will have a negative effect on the good chemistry that we are having. Do you support a trade right now?
What is Scola's ceiling as a scorer? Sometimes you see him get 6-8 points quickly and at the end of the game he is around 10.I recognize that scoring is just one aspect of the game and I don't expect him to be the 2nd option but it seems that he can get quite a few more points on some nights. Tonight he had 14 and then sat out which was fine because it gave Landry a chance to play but just how far can he go when he is looking hot?
What do you think will happen with Steve Francis? Is he done or does he contribute next year ala Bonzi? How will the Rockets try to answer the problem of finding a longterm solution at PG?
The Rockets look more and more like a playoff team...so which team gets left out of the playoff picture, Denver? or Golden State? This is a tough one.
GS is a good scoring team but an average defensive ball club. Denver are a bit better defensively which gives them an edge. The Rockets remain vulnerable to matchup problems against stronger ball clubs. How they handle that will determine our fate IMO.
Hey, Clutch - a question (and, for the host - it's pronounced just like it's spelled 'Zicky'): Is this winning streak's timing such that the Front Office will be deluded into believing the team is closer to the time being now than it probably/really? is Speaking of believing - is there any way to make any other GM believe (be deluded?) in Mike James (Colangelo Jr/Jason Kapono perhaps?). Thanks.
Talking about Novak....looked at more as an expiring contract. (Novak not ready for NBA) Seems to be a great shooter, but his D....not there. First time I've tuned in, nice show. EDIT: Oh snap! Thanks for the mention!
Is Artest still looked at as a head case? We all know he has the skills, but is he a cancer chemistry wise? I really don't know much about Artest these days considering I don't follow the Kings. I'm almost afraid to mess with our chemistry. I mean, just the other day we had 5 guys in double digits...including rookies! I'd call in, but I'm at work. It's been a good year to be a Rockets fan ('08), just about completely erased the horrible record we had back in ('07...Dec etc.)
Trade Landry...leaning to no...we need frontcourt depth against the West teams...we need to somehow keep him. Artest will be just a rental...he's looking to get paid and will opt out. Looking down into the future, if Tmac doesn't bring us to the promised land, is Lebron James or Dwyane Wade a realistic goal to go for in 2010 when both of them will be free agents?
What on this earth are you talking about? There are no female players on the NBA teams. PS Landry stays to build the team with Yao Ming!
Hopefully Yao who is still in his prime will still attract other stars to come here. And a strong contending team that has developed role players like Scola, Brooks and Landry.
