t-mac says he has to play since yao is out.. so if yao was still playin would t-mac play?.. hmm its only one game.. why not both sit out.. if we lose tonight we still got 70 games to go
i don't think olympics has anything to do with it. Unless he is out for the season he could easily get that rest back right now if Adelman would let him sit for a few weeks.
Well unlike most posters I don't come to clutchfans often, this is obvious by my lack of posts. So with that being said I was unaware of it being beaten to death. Had I known I would not have brought it up.
tmac is trying to act tought because its almost accepted by everyone that he isn't I guess he first realized when everyone was saying "awesome artest is coming, now the team will have a ballsack"
I love having Yao on this team but sometimes I think it would be less of a headache to not worry about the Chinese mafia coming to take him back to China and force him into basketball slavery, then get him back and he's all jacked up. China needs to step off and let this guy win some rings.
All these injuries can be attributed to the crappy sneakers they wear, yao weas reebok and tmac wear addidas and i saw artest wearing mcgradys creator sneakers. so its official addidas and reebok are the worst sneakers to play in
I think starting the season playing almost 40 minutes a night right off the bat had more impact than playing 3-4 games at the Olympics. The MRI showed no structural damage according to the news, so that probably means the muscle in his foot are fatigued. Hence the days off. Last year, Yao would have played through it, this year management isn't taking any chances.
We seriously need to re-sign Deke, whether Yao is out just tonight or for the next serveral weeks. The Rockets need a real backup center who is proven; as good as Chuck Hayes is defensively... he is a power forward who should only be used in spot minutes at the center position. Also, everyone that is freaking out should chill out. Certainly this isn't good news, but jesus, as usual some of you are acting like children. Get a grip!
lol, why am i not surprised by the oh-so-predictable calls to play dorsey? give me a break. chuck hayes is dirk's father. i'm beginning to wonder if 5 years from now we might look back and wonder how we could be naive enough to believe yao's career wasn't nearing its end, just how we look back and wonder how we hoped steve francis would one day "get it" as a point guard.
Well i hate to say it but atleast its just a few games in the season hopefully he will be ready for the playoffs. once again the coach needs to limit his min. forget about how well chuch is doing that guy is amazing but we need another 7 footer. limit yao to 25 mins a game its time.
Duncan and KG also don't weigh over 300 lbs. I doubt it's the shoes. At ths point, I just pray that Yao will not miss the rest of this season. Let's go, Big 2.
