    who would have thought?

9 years ago we thought we were getting a franchise saving PG. if someone told me that in 9 years we'd trade him to the Grizzlies for a 2nd round pick, i'd think you were crazy.

After being traded 3 times, getting cut, and signed for $2.4 million.

The Rockets don't have any expiring contracts other then Head's miniscule contract and Artest who isn't going anywhere any time soon.

If it had been typed TWacey I would've thought a Timberwolves trade. Otherwise there's Acie Law from the Hawks but that'd mean Joe Johnson as Bibby is a no go with Artest on the team so that's not happening. Oh well :D

This is a disappointing exit for Stevie. At least we'll have that Phoenix game he had to remember:

I was hoping that Steve would've been able to contribute this last season and this year but obviously his injury didn't let that happen.

Rafer, Brooks have been consistent this year sharing the PG duties but I'm hoping that both of them are healthy for the playoffs because I don't think that Head is going to be a good sub with the higher intensity.

Too bad. And what's bad as well is the fact, that Memphis has a lot of guards. Hopefully Francis will find his spot...

This makes me sad to watch. He's fallen off so much in his career it's hard to imagine that he may not be able to produce at a high level anymore. Good luck Stevie in all your endeavors, you will be missed.

i will never forget that phoenix game, steve is still one of my favorite players until he retires. I hope this works for steve but idk if he will even show up to the grizzlies i have a feeling he either gets cut or retires. I truly could cry right now not that the rockets traded him because i could easily watch him play in memphis but that he was traded for nothing and his career is going downhill at the age of 31. Steve good luck in memphis and show the rockets they made a mistake. I would love steve to get back to at least 12ppg and torch the rockets that would be amazing seeing how they dumped him like this. Bye steve :(

i think it was a great move. it was best for the team and steve himself. the rockets need a backup center desperately and steve needs a team that will actually use him/need him.

HAHAHAHA! This is too funny. Especially after all of those threads and demands of playing Steve.

I'm going to miss him though. Good trade for us yes!
