RECAP of Talking Points:
Flight over was life threatening.
Yao being hurt sucks major balls, he thought we were out after the Yao.
Rockets defy explanation and it is a magical drama, fans of NBA should enjoy this run regardless of how they feel about Htown.
The WC has no defined leader (injuries, chemistry, coaching changes/transition teams).
NO is very impressive.
Rockets are doubtable because we are in WC, not because of Mac or Yao.
"There are no seedings in the west, it's three rounds of madness"
Boston gets a cake walk and so does Detroit.
The Rocket's story is captivating because of the amount of effort they put in. They're streak is filled with emotion and guts.
Every team is good, except NY, the knicks are a joke, they should consider a bid for NCAA Tournament.
The Celtics could be the best team in the league.
KG, Allen, Cassel and Brown could be the real deal.
Celts are ultimate litmus test of greatness.
No one could have picked the Rox ('um, Wilbon we did)
How will they handle a loss?
All we need is 5-5, Shane is underrated. Duh.

Lets play a game, did you pick Golden State to beat Dallas last season in the playoffs? No?? MAN YOU ARE A GOLDEN STATE HATER! Stop being so emotional, no one even HERE picked the Rockets to go 10-0 without Yao. No one here is even saying we will win it all even after the 22-0. Sure we all WANT IT TO HAPPEN.

 

Ok, maybe my points didn't convey it well enough, he said no one picked the Rockets to be at the top of the WC. From the get go a lot of Clutchfans believed that this team was good it just needed time to adjust to RA's new system. True, no one picked 22-0, but a lot of us still thought they were contenders. I'm not emotional about it, I'm just saying I've had faith since RA came to this team.

What did I win? The joy of knowing the Dallas Mavs are still without a championship.

 

kornheiser doesnt know anything.... he never watches games because he's in bed by 7pm.

I agree, except NY, that team is too sucky and has no balls. It does not deserve to be played in NCAA. I recommend the Scotland's Amateur League of Basketball World's Fallouts.
