Clutch so if a trade is made Ron is the guy that will be dealt, that is not good news at all. I wish TMac would be traded for Marbury if the team wants to have the funds for 2010, they can have it right after this year since Marbury's contract ends at the end of the season.
As of a few days ago, yes that is true. However, last night word was Sarver was getting involved, talking to the players and seeing if canning Porter would solve their differences. Don't know what will happen out of that, but if Miami just pulled the trigger on a deal, taking themselves out of the running, that might be an indicator that Stoudemire is off the block. We'll see.
he is not coming here either so we might as well just let that ship sail. If he was to come here which I doubt then expect another trade to happen. No way Amare Scola and Landry are all on the same team unless one of them will be Yao's backup. Point Guard is a need not power forward
But the word in so many articles was that Sarver has been hit pretty hard in the pocketbook (well, for a gajillionaire) by the economic downturn and wants/needs to cut a lot of salary, fast. Which, if true, still means the team needs to deal. Unless Sarver thinks firing Porter is the answer; but he'd be on the hook to pay Porter's remaining money, PLUS find a midseason replacement who can take them to the promised land. That's a tall order.
Probably not. Although the Suns would have to hope he's a better coach than a GM. And still, all indications were that Sarver needed to dump salary in the worst way.
Thanks, Hayesfan. That link is to Clutch's interview from the John and Lance show. Puff, is there going to be a podcast of the one from Friday the 13th?
sucks i can't listen at work!! Clutch whats the chances of a 3-way deal involving golden state and LAC
How is it possible that I disagree with 60% of what I hear on this board and yet agree 99.9999% with what Clutch says?
