Thanks for talking about the 'which game of the back-to-back' situation. Why wouldn't he want to play against Boston?? I wish we could get a straight answer about it all. Tracy drama fatigue. good line.
Toward the end of the interview they were saying how defense was the difference this game and Artest did a good job on Pierce. I do think that Ron did a decent job Pierce, but I think they missed a lot of good looks, and Rafer did a good job not letting Ray Allen kill us like Tracy did last time in Houston.
I think if the fans are not careful and end up pressuring the organization to run T-Mac out of town prematurely, the Rockets will end up paying for it later on. Take a chill pill, ALL of you, and stop overreacting and let things run its course. I know patience is a virtue, but we are still a freakin' month away from the All-Star break. Geez, I have never seen a more self-destructive fan base
The flip side is that he is a broken down player, who is a prima donna and is unwilling to change, and can't be run out soon enough. I doubt Orlando misses him all that much. DD
I caught the part where Clutch mentioned how the Toronto loss was the tipping point for a lot of fans and how Tmac will probably (and deservedly) get boo'd at TC. John and Lance confirmed that SissyMac wouldn't be able to emotionally handle being boo'd, would break down, and eventually cry.
Thanks everyone for the comments -- I really appreciate them. I'll be on at 12:15pm today with Nuño if you want to call to talk T-Mac (or the other 13 guys ).
I actually don't think enough fans at TC will boo him to be noticeable. Some people will, no doubt, but we'll see how audible it is. Even in the upper seats most people are families who are there to enjoy the game and aren't caught up in every moment like those of us on CF.
booing is uncalled for. I don't like that he's been in and out. I don't like that when he does play he isn't his "old" self. Then again, the guy has been obviously hurt and it's easy to see how on the one hand, he feels obligated to play and do so even though he isn't healthy. ANd on the other hand he does need time to heal. Boo'ing is uncalled for at this point in the season, especially because there have been other issues besides he, that have contributed to the rockets poor play
