I am listening, and would like to call in, but it sounds like a crowded room there, might not be able to get in. DD
Aaron Brooks is 6-1 as a starter .857 winning percentage.....just saying. And Miguel stop hating, it is a new year.....call in yourself bro, put yourself out there. And Raheel, your religion is not 5000 years old, it is about 1300 or so years old... And I met Robert R at the Toros game, he is an amazing guy, told my boys that basketball players come and go, but fathers are forever....GREAT guy. DD
Brandon Roy, Kobe Bryant.... But overall a very good talk. Great topic, we really don't know what we are. We dont know what we are gonna see? Rockets scoring 120 or 80? Tracy scoring 20 or 30 or 4? Too many questions...
Jeff, I did the Kobe/Roy comparison specifically for you. But the rest is what I feel about the Rockets, I don't think Adelman has done a good job defining roles. DD
But it's so fun I haven't called in lately, but if I do, I normally call the morning. Happy new year bro.
Wow, I have to tell the same thing to you. You sometimes drive me crazy, but.... But you know what, I DO NOT AGREE with you (I guess once again) about Adelman. People blame him, but it is NOT HIS FAULT. Of course, we really don't know what we want to do (run, play defense, or be a half-court team) but what can you do, if one night you have Tracy playing at all star level, than you have him scoring 4 points and than he doesn't play at all. What can you do, if you don't really know who is gonna play and how is he gonna play. What can you do if Rafer always does his 2/10 thing and at the same time Aaron doesn't step up. It is ON the TEAM
I have been thinking about this a lot about how a coach can better define roles in a case of so many injuries etc.....suffice it to say it involves minimizing impact on the players that do play and plugging in bench players to supplant the roles that are missing. Thus keeping most players in their same roles regardless. Hopefully I really don't drive anyone crazy....I am just a fan with opinions like anyone else..... And happy new year to you and everyone here. DD
Great Clutch !!!! You gonna be talking about how the young guys Brooks and Wafer took it home last night? Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned that Artest set the tone last night, he really played physical, a bit crazy, letting Boston know that they were on notice..... DD
