    he was leaving his home, i think it happened on his blocks, then once he ran he ran lke 6 blocks further away.

    As for the guy you quoted, not sure why he thinks its a nice neighborhood, it's only a nice stretch of the block, there's spotty "nice" areas, and by that i mean new residential complexes, townhomes, etc., but not enough to line the streets completely and make it a nice neighborghood. There aren't even any businesses around there, like a mc d's, cvs, etc. So it's very empty there at night, any businesses are small and only open during the day and there's empty lots and buildings that aren't in use or completely abandoned. Not to far from there there's an area where you'll constantly see cops due to drug activitiy and prostitution. His immediate area isn't THAt bad, but might as well be because he's completely surrounded by all the bad stuff.
