scola ---6 because of defense martin---4 defensive, can't create his own shot, doesn't seem to want to brooks---4 when he was playing, his shot wasn't very good and he really didn't seem to care. yao---5 improved steadily but too many turnovers and missed defensive assignments hayes---6 same chuck hayes as before except now he's looking to score a few. battier---5 mediocre. I rank him above martin because he actually tries. bud---5 bad defense, in a slump hill---6 nice improvement from last year miller--4 other than that one night, he really hasn't been active, offensively or defensively. he's a great passer but as bull pointed out one game, we can't have a "point center" lowry---5 don't know what's going on with him but he's lacking some oomph (well the whole team is really) Adelman---3 well let's just say i don't approve of his late game decisions. overall sub-par team=sub-par ranking right now, we are a bad team. but, i'll continue to support them. I want us to play SanAntonio or LA or boston. For some reason, we always play a good game against them. Maybe that will reengergize the rockets. then again, given current attitude, maybe not.
OP is grading everybody on blindness, not only Budinger. Budinger get a 7 on such bad shooting and sub par defense, AB gets a better score than Martin while Martin played better than him on both ends of the court, AB gets a better score than Lowry when Lowry lead the team to 4 wins and Ab led the team to 0 win. Lee gets a 6 when he actually played poorly on both ends, made tons of mental mistakes, missing key FTs, missing key assignments, threw the ball away to shift the momentum. Nobody should get more than 5 except Scola,Hayes and Martin on this team so far.
Team is 4-11, should anyone get above a 5...really? Scola, Martin, Hill, Ish and Hayes have been bright spots but how bright have they been considering the state of the team.
So far, the whole team is an F. Connect the dots if you will, no matter which letters you use, and you will always be right in describing the Rockets so far.
