I think Good Fellas was DeNiro's, Pesci's, AND Liotta's best movie.

    21. Al Pacino - Dog Day Afternoon

Why is there Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Jim Carrey yet no Dustin Hoffman, Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Richard Dreyfuss, Harvey Keitel, Gene Hackman, Daniel Day Lewis or William Hurt?

    Godsend
    Meet the Fockers
    Shark Tale
    Analyze That
    The Score
    Men of Honour
    Analyze This
    Great Expectations
    Cop Land
    The Fan
Heat (I think I've seen this one, not 100% sure)
    The Deer Hunter

Mostly newer ones, none of the legnedary ones like Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Untouchables, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, A Bronx Tale or Casino. I knew I would take heat for this, that's why I made sure to mention that I haven't seen most of his "better" ones.

    1. Robert De Niro - Ronin - Maybe not as many people have seen this one.. and of course The Untouchables
    2. Tom Hanks - Forrest Gump - Sorry, one of he greatest movies ever, and won an Oscar, so this is it for him
    3. Johnny Depp - Captain Jack Sparrow - Iconic. Made Depp the star he is. Nuff said.
    4. Jack Nicholson - As Good as it Gets - he actually became human here
    5. Sylvester Stallone - Meh. Demolition Man maybe? Snipes made it fun
    6. Morgan Freeman - shrug.. he just plays Morgan Freeman, which is fine, but nothing stands out
    7. Harrison Ford - You cannot separate the Holy Trinity of Indy, Han Solo, and Deckard
    8. Brad Pitt - Nothing stands out. Not my cup of tea I guess.
    9. Leonardo DiCaprio - He has grown on me, I used to not like the guy. His most recent is also my favorite - Inception
    10. Russell Crowe - Yes, Gladiator, for sure
    11. Clint Eastwood - Unforgiven is a great great movie, but I actually like In the Line of Fire better, as far as just a 'fun to watch' Eastwood movie
    12. Jim Carrey - How did he make this list? Truman though, no question
    13. Bruce Willis - 6th Sense, easy. But he has been a busy busy man.
    14. Kurt Russell - Big Trouble in Little China
    15. Kevin Costner - as much as people rag on Waterworld, it's still fun

And the others left off this list, some mentioned below..

    How do you leave off:

Tom Cruise - A Few Good Men .. just a great great movie
Eddie Murphy - Arguably the biggest star of the 80's and into the 90's.. Trading Places is always the most fun to watch for me
Kevin Spacey - As others have remembered. But for me, it is definitely The Ref .. so much so, it is an annual Christmas tradition at my house lol
Robert Downey Jr - Can't leave him off. And among all the fun things he has done, the recent Sherlock Holmes is just so re-watchable, he is just magnificent fun in that role
Richard Dreyfus - So many brilliant things, Jaws, Close Encounters, but I may actually have to say Krippendorf's Tribe.. that movie is a riot
Dustin Hoffman - maybe I am just showing my age.. but you can't leave him out either The Graduate? Marathon Man? Kung Fu Panda? (lol)
Al Pacino - Nobody did Satan better

Soo many more.. Sam Jackson, Bill Murray, Liam Neeson, Ben Stiller, Tommy Lee Jones, Christian Bale, Jeff Bridges, Sean Connery, Will Smith, Jamie Fox, George Clooney, etc etc etc... lots of big-time guys out there, all of whom arguably could be on that top list.. ah well, fun to talk about

Yep. I thought he was excellent in a very subdued role for him. I also enjoy this movie.

I change freeman to Driving Mrs Daisy, Freeman does tend to be one dimensional, but he stepped out a little on this

Not to beat a dead horse, but....

Good LORD, man! You need to go rent Taxi Driver like.....right now! That's like saying Hakeem's best game was that preseason game against the Clippers back in 1992.

One role De Niro doesn't get a lot of mention for is This Boy's Life. Creepiest stepfather ever.
