Poor Cat is hardly getting enough accolades from his own fans.

He is LEADING THE LEAGUE in minutes. This goes to show how much of a gym rat he has become. The guy is playing over 45 minutes a game!

In addition to his sick 3P%, which does not look to be a mistake at all (of course it'll go down), he's shooting 50% from the field. For a SG averaging 22+ a game, that is a Jordan-esque number.

Cat is also averaging over 3 assists per game, 2 steals per game, and 5.5 rebounds. All solid contributions. And he's an indentured servant by NBA standards.

    Dagnabit....

Mobley must've read this thread and got all big-headed.

He went out and shot 0 - 6 on threes against the Nuggets.

    Those damn laws of averages!

Hell, I'll still take 15 out of 25 for every 25 3's he takes. :D

I was at that GS game (the last Rocket game I saw in person), I don't think Cuttino's shot hit the bank. I can also say I was a fan of Cat then and have always liked him better than MD because I thought MD was too passive and non-instinctive. Though MD's first year with the Gizzards he did begin to look like better player, I am nontheless glad the Gizzards didn't ask for Cuttino instead of MD.

Also, I think after Cuttino's big shot someone asked Barkley if threw it to him (Cuttino) because he had confidence the rookie would make it, Barkley said, "NO, I threw it to him because he was open."

Of course it was funnyier how Charles delivered the response.

Didn't he say that had he realized it was a rookie that he was passing it to, he wouldn't have passed it or something along those lines?
