Your posts are stupid because you're comparing cars and guns. Cars are responsible for moving society. Our society at this point could not function without cars and so they have a tremendous net positive effect on society. People killed by cars are killed in accidents. Comparatively, it's rare that anyone uses a car as the tool to commit a murder. It's stupid to discuss the two.

It's absurd that you feel your right to have a gun for protection in your home outweighs the lives of many tens of thousands of people that will die from gun violence over the course of your lifetime. Every day 80 people die from gun violence apparently, this so that you can have a gun in your house so that in the 1 in however million chance you have an intruder try to kill you one day. This whole trek about criminals are going to have guns is such bull****. Do you know how criminals get guns? They steal them from you ignorant fools, they don't buy them at Carter Country. I also find it convenient that the gun nuts never address the laws on automatic weapons. Automatic weapons used to be used in crimes a lot in American history. We passed laws restricting these weapons and the crime with the weapons stopped. It's very difficult to buy an automatic weapon, far more so than a semi-automatic weapon. The checks are far more extensive. The guns themselves are far more expensive and I'm sure those owners pay a lot more attention to where and how they store their $5,000 automatic than they do their $300 Ruger. Not surprisingly, you never hear about crimes committed with automatic weapons.

The whole position of the gun lobby is a shell game and it's sickening.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

ya, your right, it's a constitutional shell game and it has nothing to do with protecting my house
