It's clear that Fulgore meant that the Cougars were the only (AP) ranked team in Texas. It's the most important poll and the one that most people go by, anyway. So this is kind of a silly argument. Let it go, folks.
More people go by the BCS rankings, which is what Fulgore was going by considering he listed the rank as #13 (UH is #14 on the AP poll). It was a total fail on Fulgore's part.
Thread was created yesterday.......November 1, 2011 is a month old?! In reality it's clear Fulgore was talking about BCS rankings, which is why he gave the, keep up with me here, the BCS ranking of UH. Then to top it off and say AP > BCS....wowsers. I thought for sure it was the top 2 BCS schools that played for the championship.
No doubt he dun goofed, but I think it's pretty clear what he was implying based on his statement about them being the only ones (not hard to see which poll they're the only ones listed in). If you want to bicker with him about it, fine, but that's probably the reaction he was going for (trying to rouse the ire of UT/A&M people).
The BCS standings are not a poll. They're a composite. And no, that thread about Tier One is a month old, and you're *still* trying to win a losing argument about it. SMH...

Hilariously sad, I swear there were less than 500 people there at kickoff. UAB has such a terrible situation; it would basically be as if UH had to run everything by Deloss Dodds to get approval. That's how crappy UAB's deal is with UA controlling everything they do.
What I've gathered from reading the above. Hellen Keller could of understood what Fulgore was implying. Little longhorns/Aggies are probably mad that their football team is irrelevant. Aggies can't hold onto leads, and the Longhorns wish they Keenum.
Dang you're right. Official attendance for that game was 8,872. Their other two games more than doubled that one in attendance. Wonder what happened on that day.
What does being a "poll" have to do with anything? They are all rankings and he cited the BCS ranking, not the AP. He was not looking at the AP. If he was looking at the AP he would have said UH was 14th. There is no arguing about it. If you say something dumb don't deflect it back on everyone and then people won't keep bringing it up.

Embarrassed? Dude you cant be serious. When I made the thread Rivals college rankings had The Coogs at 13 and Texas as the top team for receiving votes. The updated version has Texas at 21 which was after I made the thread. I made a mistake so my bad. I know UT people walk on water and never make mistakes.......
