My guess is that Carlos Rogers gets the 12th spot, and I think he's well deserving of it. The candidates would have to be Rogers, Drew, Bullard, and Pig but IMO Rogers helps this team the most. He works hard, can play the 3, 4, or 5, and was playing very well before he was hurt last year. Carlos should make the team.

Good pick in Rogers Cat, now put Collier on the IR for the year who takes his place as the 12th man on the rooster? Pig Miller?

Collier is a very talented player who I think will be a good player as a Rocket. You don't put your 1st round pick on IR for the season- some of you guys are overreacting after a couple of summer league games in which he wasn't even close to 100%. Collier will make the team, no doubt IMO.

Los for sure. Drew on the IR for backcourt insurance. I'm sure Rudy would like to keep another big man though, so drew might have company on IR. Training camp should be very interesting.

Guys all these people you mentioned are decent players but none really have what it takes to excel in that slot. The 12th Rooster spot has has to go to Foghorn Leghorn. Face it. The guy's a natural. [IMG]

    JT,

I say, I say, that boy mgille never learns.

I agree Leghorn has the size and tenacity it takes to make it in the NBA.

I think Drew will probably be gone as will Miller. If so, I would say this would be most likely:

    Olajuwon
    Taylor
    Williams
    Anderson
    Francis
    Mobley
    Cato
    Langhi
    Bullard
    Norris
    Thomas
    Rogers

IR: Collier though this will change during the season. Drew would probably be a candidate for the IR if he can't be traded.

Carlos Rogers will go on the IR.

Why? Because he will be injured. I'm just not sure how. If it hadn't already happened to Alou, I would say that he would fall off a treadmill or something stupid like that. At a certain point you just have to accept that Carlos will take up a spot on IR. Quit wasting everyone's time by penciling him in on the 12 man roster. [IMG]

Collier led the ACC in rebounding, but we have not seen his real game because of his back injury, imo.

Carlos is my choice for 12th man, with Pig, Washington, and Bullard on I.R.

I do think that Bullard could help another team, and I hope the Rockets let him finish his career on a high note.

I wouldn't put Bullard on the team over
    Collier.

Collier will be a good player. Remember he's
comming out of the ACC and it's real basketball and just because he's hurt doesn't mean that he sucks.
I think now with Mo Taylor this team has a tremendous foundation to start those championship runs that we go used to seeing in the 90's.
    PG-Francis,Norris
    SG-Anderson,Mobley
    SF-Williams,Langhi,Rodgers
    PF-Taylor,Thomas,Collier
    C-Olajuwon,Cato

This team is solid. Lets hope that anybody gets hurt and let Rudy T do his thing and we will have a good year next year.

One thing I think you can bet on this coming year, is that Hakeem will be hurt at some point. That means Pig will most likely be around. Out of Pig, Bullard, and Rogers, I think Rogers is the least useful for a 12th man type of position. At #12, I think if you can do something really well, you'll be useful. Bullard can shoot, and Pig is a big body who can rebound. These are just good things to have on the end of a bench. If one of your big guys goes down, which always happens, you have Pig in an emergency ready to step in. If you need to draw up a last second three-pointer, you have Bullard. Rogers just doesn't do anything really well.

    rogers is overrated!
i know he´s been through a lot...but two or three good games p/a don´t make ya a good role player...

nbatalk reports that los is free agent and holds a player option - is this true???

Why do the Rockets need 12 roosters?

I thought you only needed a few to stud the hens.

And where are the hens? Aren't they the ones that are supposed to lay the eggs?

I say we just feed the players egg substitutes, and save all the hassle.
