A new company that is launching tomorrow. The Co-Founders include Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Michael Strahan, Tim Lincecum, Nas, and Nick Cannon. There is no information yet on what the company is about. They are keeping it a secret until the launch, which is sometime tomorrow. 6/12/2012.

The website says people who sign up now will get "VIP access." Whatever that means...

Here is my referral link (if you invite people, it says you get early access or something) if anyone wants to sign up through it:

Here is the direct link to the website:

Looks interesting with all these athletes/music artists. I wonder what kind of company it is going to be.

It'll be some flashy company that will lose them money in the long run.

    The website is up.

So apparently, its a $39 subscription to a gift box that has 4-6 products that have a retail value of a minimum of $125. The products inside the box are chosen by the celebs/athletes themselves.

    Haha

I would only buy a box if they guaranteed it included the Dre beats headphones

Here is an article about the website:

The startup is currently backed by Groupon co-founders.

These subscription based models are all the rage nowadays. I don't get it. I'd rather pay for the one or two things I want, when I want them.

but I guess it works for some consumers.

So you pay $39 for the right to receive a bag full of undisclosed trinkets that will supposedly make you a baller like Blake Griffin?

    Uh.......am I missing something here? That's a horrible idea.

It may not reach the masses, but there's a market for this.

Dude. The box might contain a pair of Bresciani socks that retail for $59. Nevermind you'd never pay that much for socks nor did you need a pair anyway but Kevin Love likes them.

Basically, that's why people here can't hate since they go crazy for a slingshot monkey and whoopy cushions.
