Manny, I like your points a lot. Here is an amalgam of responses and opinions of my own...

    1) I had a roommate in college that loved Roxy Music, but he was never able to get me hooked. On a trip to Scotland, I actually listened to an outdoor Brian Ferry concert from the other side of a river. I think my most underrated artist(s) would be Crowded House, Split Enz, and Matthew Sweet.

    4) I think the most brilliant string of consecutive albums is from Stevie Wonder who made Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions, Fufillingness' First Finale, Songs in the Key of Life. I have all but Fufillingness' First Finale so I am taking other critics word for it on that one particular one.

    5) I agree on all but Stone Roses. I think it was a solid album, but I've never understood why everyone loved it.

    8) Agree completely.... like they produce the same album every time.

    9) I'll have to listen to Talk Talk. I know nothing about them.

    10) ....and the Beach Boys post Pet Sounds is vastly underrated compared to their other stuff. After Brian Wilson stopped producing the albums, the quality became very erratic, but there are many more gems than duds, and many albums that are among their very best work including - Sunflower, Surf's Up, Holland, Love You, Smiley Smile, 20/20, and Friends.

    Here are some extras:

    1) The best album never to be released on CD is Buckingham Nicks. God only knows why this is not available.

    2) The best independent album ever is Neutral Milk Hotel.
