I think that's just design of the offense. JVG's style is low-possesion type of game. It will never be exciting like the kings or Mavs. Our team kinda reminds me of the NFL Giants of old when they were winning superbowls. Basically grind it out type of offense and occasionally go for the homerun.

I would have no problem if it was effecient, but we are not only low in points per game, we are low in fg% also. I'm a big rockets fan watching them since 81, but JVG makes the rockets almost unbearable to watch. Winning ugly is ok if it gets us to the finals, but otherwise it makes being a rockets fan miserable for me.

We are 17th in FG% but 2nd in 3pt FG%. Is that low?

I've been a Rocket also since 81 during that playoff run. Like I said the offense is boring and we shall see if one day it takes us to the finals. I think with a couple of more players we could compete one day. It is fun to watch TMac play though, he seems so effortless when making a play. So there's at least one interesting aspect to our offense.

Below average with two of the top 2 offensive players at their positions isn't really good. Also, if you consider our other players like MoT and Howard who are known more for offense than defense, it makes it worse.

I didn't say you didn't use stats, I said you should just use stats and not call people b****es. Calling people b****es time and time again is not balance and sensibility.

And your demeanor makes it sound like you should just about be approaching 10th grade right now.

Oh, I didn't even see that he was a 10th grader. That explains it.

I don't really get it - why are we supposed to be so much better off in terms of turnovers?

I mean, the Orlando trade netted us a benefit of .7 less turnovers per game....

So I guess that makes us a little better - but why should we be expecting such a massive improvement once our players gel??

Because Tyler Durden took multi-variable calculus in tenth grade.
